Her Sound, Her Story: A Celebration of Women in Music

Expand beyond Sennheiser’s core focus on sound and technology to identify influencers capable of creating engaging content.

Challenge

Sennheiser wanted to celebrate Women’s Day in a way that resonated with their audience. Despite progress, women in the music industry still face significant challenges and underrepresentation.

Insight

We recognised the power of storytelling and the need for role models. Women in music often face unique challenges and underrepresentation in the industry. Highlighting the journeys and successes of established female artists could inspire aspiring musicians and reshape the narrative around women’s place in music.

Idea

Building on this insight, we conceptualised “Her Sound, Her Story,” a video series featuring Mihir Joshi interviewing established female artists like Kanika Kapoor, Shalmali Kholgade, Aishwariya Majmudar, and Shibani Kashyap. The concept moved beyond simple interviews, aiming for insightful conversations that delved into these talented women’s professional lives. This approach fostered a connection with the audience and allowed the artists to share their stories and experiences.
