AI-Generated Reels: How NEM Leveraged Generative AI for Livguard’s Festive Reels

During the festive season of October, ‘25, it was essential to integrate the brand Livguard and its various product categories seamlessly into social media posts.

Challenge

During the festive season of October, ‘25, it was essential to integrate the brand Livguard and its various product categories seamlessly into social media posts. Video production through film shoots, involving various steps, would have been both time-consuming and cost-intensive. It was also not feasible to cover various locations, cast the right models and create customised sets at a short notice.

Insight

With various generative AI tools at our disposal, it has become increasingly common to produce videos that look realistic and lend a human touch. Generative AI tools also help ensure character consistency across reels, provide various means to tweak visuals and audio and lend a cinematic effect without the cost of a film shoot.

Idea

We created several storyboards for Livguard, each covering a product category. Centred around a unilateral theme of ‘Tyohaar ke liye raho taiyaar!’, the reels integrated a Livguard product seamlessly into a festive atmosphere.

From building a storyline to creating a storyboard with characters, voiceovers and dialogues, the entire process of a regular ad shoot was followed.
Two films specifically around Durga Puja and Dussehra, and two reels revolving around Diwali, were ideated upon.

Execution

Based on approved storyboards, frame generation prompts were refined using ChatGPT and fed into tools such as Gemini to generate video frames. Freepik was used to source and refine further visual elements. Voiceovers were recorded in-house and optimised using ElevenLabs. The frames were stitched together, integrating music, voiceover and sound effects, on Adobe After Effects. Wherever required, manual intervention was used to further refine the output.

Conclusion

Without intensive time and cost investment, NEM was able to create realistic, festive-themed videos that integrated the brand Livguard seamlessly. The AI-generated reels delivered strong overall visibility, with festive-led organic content showing high engagement quality and strong audience resonance.

We achieved this during a season of cluttered ad space, highlighting the high quality and pull of these reels.

The high realism of the videos, coupled with relatable storylines, also led to positive brand associations and subtle category education, such as how one can save money by installing solar solutions.

It was a highly satisfying creative experience with visually aesthetic and engaging results. The client Livguard has, since then, sought similar AI-generated realistic reels to lend a human touch and higher engagement to their social media presence.
